A Message from the Author:

Writer, Harry Louis Gauvin has a message for all you new readers and the day of his series becoming available for the first time in full:

Dear Reader, welcome to our world of Bingert and Friends.  They have been our companions ever since our children ‘invented’ them in 1990.   Their colourful drawings delighted us as did the fascinating sketches of their escapades.   The years passed but the characters were not forgotten and they appeared in several of our fancy dress parties which we, as a family, collaborated on when each of the children reached the age milestones of thirteen and eighteen.   They were fun times when all attendees entered into the spirit of the occasion in dress and humour and our children delight in recalling those times.   Bingert, Mauish and Rami were talked about as though they were ‘members of the family’. 

Trisha and I thought it would be fitting to bring this tradition to life for the next generation and so I began to write the stories for our grandchildren and found that ‘the lads’ took me along for many other adventures as well.  It has been truly enjoyable, especially as I had the great good fortune to have Jon Weber illustrate those adventures.  I do hope the tales give you pleasure and leave you with a warm glow of satisfaction.
